A&D Tutoring's STEM Programs

Its Python and Introduction to Coding In-School Field Trips are designed for students in Grades 4-6 and are delivered directly at participating schools. During these curriculum-aligned sessions, students learn foundational coding principles such as planning, sequencing, testing, and debugging before applying their knowledge to create simple computer games and projects.
Students work collaboratively to solve coding challenges while developing creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and computational skills. Programs can be delivered as half-day sessions, full-day experiences, or one-week residencies and can be tailored to meet the needs of each school or organization. Angie De Benedetto is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of A&D Tutoring. She is an entrepreneur with a Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and more than three decades of experience in education. Angie specializes in Accounting, Finance, and Business Management and has experience supporting children, adult learners, and students with special needs.
As CEO, Angie oversees the corporate development of A&D Tutoring and plays an active role in guiding the organization's continued growth. She is also President of the A&D Educational Association and President of Warriors Soccer Club, reflecting her ongoing commitment to supporting youth and strengthening the Edmonton community.
Angie has also served on several boards, contributing her knowledge and experience to their development. Her extensive educational and business background, community involvement, and dedication to youth continue to shape her leadership and commitment to helping learners reach their full potential.
